Speech, Language, & AAC Therapy

Speech therapy supporting children of all abilities in building confident, meaningful communication through neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered care.

Growth that is centered around you!

Prism is a small, specialized therapy practice offering speech therapy with an intentional focus on consistency and quality of care. Services are designed to build on your child’s strengths while supporting how they already communicate, learn, and engage with the world. Sessions are engaging and playful, because children learn best when they’re motivated, curious, and having fun. Support is always flexible and responsive, shaped by what helps your child feel successful, confident, and understood.

AAC Evaluations

Prism specializes in AAC evaluations designed to find the right communication system for each child—because AAC is never one-size-fits-all. We carefully match AAC features to your child’s individual needs, considering factors such as motor access, eye gaze or switch access, screen size, layout, and language organization so the system feels intuitive and usable. Prism is highly experienced in AAC trials, insurance requirements, funding options, and hands-on implementation.

Already have a primary SLP? No problem! We are always happy to work alongside a child’s primary team —whether for short-term support during the evaluation process or longer-term AAC needs as communication skills continue to grow.

We also offer dedicated AAC Clinic Days, built into our services to provide focused time for parent training, evaluations, trial therapy, and consultations, allowing for deeper collaboration and more comprehensive support throughout the AAC process.

Meet Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley—a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist and the founder of Prism Pediatric Therapy. I support children and young adults in building meaningful communication skills so they can express themselves, connect with others, and participate confidently in everyday life. I partner closely with families to create engaging, strengths-based experiences rooted in curiosity and connection—because every child has something important to say and deserves support that fits who they are and how they communicate.

I bring extensive experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and language support, and I’ve had the privilege of sharing this work through speaking engagements, clinician and caregiver coaching, and teaching future clinicians. I’m passionate about helping families feel confident and supported throughout their child’s communication journey. My vision for Prism is to thoughtfully grow a small team of clinicians who share these values, allowing us to expand our reach and support more families with high-quality, individualized care.

I’m so glad you’re here and would love the opportunity to support your child and family.
